Fold the wire in half and string it through the ball, ensuring that a small button is threaded onto one end of the folded wire. Now, secure the hat permanently onto your styrofoam ball using your hot glue gun. Apply glue along the base of the hat, pressing it firmly to the snowman’s “head.” Next, take a strip of white felt and glue it all the way around the base of the hat, creating a charming hat trim. Position this trim carefully to just cover the raw edge of your main hat fabric, giving it a polished finish. Once the trim is in place, gently fold the tip of the hat down to create that playful floppy look, securing it with a small dab of glue to hide any remaining raw edges. To complete the hat, attach one or two small pom-poms to the very tip. Notice how your little snowman is already starting to exude an undeniable cuteness!
