We decided to cap the guest list at a maximum of ten of her closest Kindergarten girlfriends, a challenging but ultimately rewarding decision. On the big day, we had a delightful group of eight girls plus my daughter, making it a total of nine enthusiastic artists. This smaller, more intimate setting allowed each child ample space to create, minimized potential messes, and ensured every little artist felt special and supported. Rushing the peel can lead to parts of the design lifting or not adhering properly. With a bit of patience and this technique, each name transferred beautifully, making these personalized aprons a hit. They served as a practical art tool during the party and a cherished take-home memento!
Engaging First Activity: DIY Paper Name Placemats
Inspired by a memorable visit to Crayola Experience in Orlando, Florida, where my daughter celebrated her 4th birthday a few years back, I envisioned creating something equally special for this party: DIY Paper Name Placemats.
