Inspired by Ryder’s “water style” newborn photo, it felt only fitting to create a similar, yet unique, counterpart for Reagan. My mom, ever the sentimentalist, had saved my very first bathing suit from when I was a baby, and that’s precisely what Reagan is wearing in this charming “sunbathing” style shoot! It’s undoubtedly very 80s, but that makes it even more special and adds a beautiful layer of family history to her newborn portraits.

Given that Reagan was born in February, a Valentine’s Day themed baby cupid photo was one of the very first prop-style ideas that came to mind. Who can resist a tiny, adorable baby cupid? If you recall, I also did baby cupid photos with Ryder when he was around 10 months old, and I absolutely plan to continue this heartwarming tradition with Reagan next year as well! It’s a delightful way to mark the occasion and celebrate her birth month with a touch of playful romance.
