It’s a curious fact, but throughout my many homes, this Alabama Farmhouse marks only the second time I’ve been blessed with a window right in the kitchen. The number of packages will depend on how many towels you use and how tightly you space the rings. Typically, one package containing 7-10 rings is sufficient for a single standard dish towel. Look for rings that complement your chosen rod and overall kitchen aesthetic – metal finishes like bronze, black, or brushed nickel are popular farmhouse choices.
- Tension Rod: The secret weapon for a no-damage, renter-friendly, and incredibly quick installation. Tension rods are designed to fit snugly within a window frame without the need for drilling holes. Measure your window width precisely to ensure you purchase a rod that can extend to the correct length. For a more traditional look or if your window frame isn’t suitable for a tension rod, a small decorative curtain rod with brackets can also be used, though it will require minor installation.
